New, old stock, dynamo control brushes for Lucas model C35M, C35MV & C35XV 3-brush dynamos. Lucas part no. 220174. These were more often sold as 1/3 of the full brush set (Lucas220196 / Ford YE 10069/70B) but perhaps recognising the relative fragility of the thin control brushes Lucas made them available as a separate part.
Principal applications: Austin 7 1937- 39 ( not Big Seven ); Dellow Sports MkIII 1952-54; Ford 8 1935-49, 10 1935-38; Morgan 3-wheeler 1948-52; Morris 5cwt. Van 1939-51 (not export models); Reliant 750cc 3-wheeler 1939-40; Standard 8hp. 1939 only; plus some other obscure applications. Of less interest to many owners who will have converted to 2 brush + CVC operation but useful spares for those still running 3-brush / cut-out / summer/winter charge.
