1905 PUNCH MAGAZINE BOUND VOLUMES HEAVY 2.9kg LEATHER ANTIQUE BOOK (P14)

Great antique LARGE HEAVY 2.9kg leather spine fine binding book containing bound volumes of the Punch Magazines  for the year 1905 (January to December). Contains great news articles and illustrations throughout. Photo 1 shows that the leather title on the spine is missing. Photos 17 & 18 show evidence of what looks like two illustrated pages have been cut out (I have flicked through the books a few times and only saw evidence of these two missing illustrations). Photo 19 shows a gap on the inside cover crease due to the heavy weight of the pages putting pressure on the cover so front cover feels a bit wobbly. Photo 20 shows a split on the cover spine edge. Photo 21 shows a gap between cover spine and pages so binding feels a bit wobbly but this is common in old thick heavy books. Page binding is strong and pages themselves are in great condition especially as the book is 119 years old.

Measures 29cm tall x 22cm wide x 6.5cm thick.
