"I, Claude William Atkinson, of 2 Queen Anne's Gate, in the City of Westminster, Civil Engineer, do hereby declare the nature of this invention to be as follows: This invention relates to electric measuring and recording devices, and has for its object the construction and arrangement of such apparatus in a simple, and inexpensive manner with a very open indicating scale and with means for leaving a record of any excess of current, special provision being made for varying the time lag of the excess indicating device..."
