STRONG NATURE BetaTan protect

is a dietary supplement based on  carotenoids – beta carotene and lycopene, quercetin, vitamin E, selenium, zinc and copper. Strong Nature BetaTan protect is recommended for the:

    preparation of the skin for tanning;
    healthy skin, hair and nails;
    maintaining of normal visual function;
    protection of cells from the damaging effects caused by free radicals.

Beta carotene is a precursor in the synthesis of vitamin A, which is necessary to maintain normal visual function and skin. Lycopene, the pigment responsible for the red color of fruits and vegetables, acts as a strong antioxidant. Lycopene is one of the most powerful carotenoid quencher of singlet oxygen. The ability of lycopene to block UV light is an additional benefit for the skin. It gets the melanin to be produced for longer, so the tan lasts for longer.  Quercetin belongs to the compounds of the flavonoid group. Quercetin has antioxidant and antiinflamatory activity, and benefit demonstrates in some allergies, too. Copper contributes to normal skin and hair pigmentation ie. the synthesis of melanin. Melanin is the pigment responsible for the beautiful, tanned skin. It participates in protection of tissues from damage caused by adverse influence of UV rays. Zinc is a trace element necessary for normal vision, healthy skin, hair and nails. Vitamin E, selenium, zinc and copper help protect cells from oxidative stress.

50 mg of Japanese pagoda tree (Sophorae japonica L) flower dry extract with min 98% of quercetin, 15:1; 50 mg of Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum) fruit dry extract with min 10% of lycopene, 15:1; 10 mg αTE* of vitamin E (as dl-α-tocopheryl acetate); 7 mg of beta – carotene; 5 mg of zinc (as zinc-oxide); 1 mg of copper (as copper-gluconate) and 50 µg of selenium (as sodium-selenate).
