The product contains beta-carotene, which is one of the sources of vitamin A, and acts as an antioxidant. It has an important role in protecting the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays, because it increases the amount of pigment, and its role in maintaining soft and smooth skin is also useful.

Beta carotene is a precursor in the synthesis of vitamin A, which is necessary to maintain normal visual function and skin. Lycopene, the pigment responsible for the red color of fruits and vegetables, acts as a strong antioxidant. Lycopene is one of the most powerful carotenoid quencher of singlet oxygen. The ability of lycopene to block UV light is an additional benefit for the skin. It gets the melanin to be produced for longer, so the tan lasts for longer.  Quercetin belongs to the compounds of the flavonoid group. Quercetin has antioxidant and antiinflamatory activity, and benefit demonstrates in some allergies, too. Copper contributes to normal skin and hair pigmentation ie. the synthesis of melanin. Melanin is the pigment responsible for the beautiful, tanned skin. It participates in protection of tissues from damage caused by adverse influence of UV rays. Zinc is a trace element necessary for normal vision, healthy skin, hair and nails. Vitamin E, selenium, zinc and copper help protect cells from oxidative stress.
