My name is Louise Goldsborough/Bird and I am a professional miniature doll artist in England, United Kingdom.
I design and create high-quality, handcrafted miniature porcelain dolls and accessories that are popular with collectors all over the world.
Here at Angelique Miniatures you will find a growing number of interesting and original miniature characters and accessories that will make great gifts for friends and family. Or why not treat yourself?

From historical Kings and Queens to merchants and servants, elegant fairies to witches and wizards, my store aims to offer a wide selection of one twelfth scale miniature dolls suitable to live in your dolls houses or simply to display in your treasure cabinet.  
I can promise you that everything I make will have been made with love and care and with the intention of giving pleasure to its new owner for many years to come.

·         My preferred method of payment is via PAYPAL 
·         Payment via PAYPAL is required within 48 hours please. If you would like me to send you a PAYPAL money request or invoice please let me know and I will be happy to do so.
·         I am also able to accept personal checks/cheques, Postal Orders or money orders (made payable to my married name MRS L.M. BIRD) but these can sometimes take time to clear especially if they are from outside the United Kingdom. Please be aware that I cannot send your goods until payment has cleared. I will always let buyers know that I have received their payments and I will also let them know once payments have cleared.
·         All checks/cheques or money orders should be sent to:

·           Payment by personal check/cheque, Postal Order or money order should be received by me within ten days so any checks/cheques or money orders need to be posted by you as soon as possible after you have agreed to buy.
Your mailing address: Please make sure that you give me the exact address you want me to post your item/s to.
·         Sometimes, people prefer me to send their orders to their work address or a friend or parent’s address. All items are insured and will need to be signed for so it does help if your package can go to an address where somebody is around to accept delivery for you. As long as you let me know, I am happy to post to an alternative address.
Shipping charges to most destinations are listed with all items but if your area is not listed please contact me.
 All shipping charges include actual postage cost, insurance and packaging. If you buy multiple items at the same time, I will probably be able to offer you a shipping discount so please contact me and I’ll send you a new invoice.
·         Customs charges: For all items shipped outside the United Kingdom the buyer is responsible for any customs charges made by their country.
·         Packaging: I take great care in the creation of all my work so I also take care to package things well to withstand their journey to their new homes. I am a huge fan of recycling and re-use all packaging wherever I can as long as it is clean and in good condition.
 Posting your package: When an item is bought, I try to post it as soon as possible after payment in full has cleared. I always let customers know when I am planning to post their orders and then again when their order is on its way so that it can be expected. I usually go to the Post Office mid-week and/or Saturday mornings although I am always happy to go earlier in the week if items have been bought over the weekend.
·         Please understand that I have no control over how long it takes for the package to reach you once it is in Royal Mail’s care. Sometimes international packages can get held up at customs and take a while longer during the run up to Christmas but we have never lost a package yet. 
·          Please let me know as soon as you receive your package, as I do tend to worry. If I haven’t heard from you by the time I think you should have received it, I will contact you to ask.
·         I always ship by Royal Mail. All packages will need to be signed for on delivery.
·         The package will be fully insured against loss or damage and sent by either Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery depending on its value. Please allow seven working days from the date of posting for delivery within the United Kingdom. Most will arrive well before this time.

·         If you still haven’t received your package within the time expected please don’t panic. When ever this has happened in the past it has turned out that the post man has tried to deliver the package and forgotten to leave a card to say that it is waiting at the local pick-up office (yes, it does happen!). If it is still not there, please contact me and I will get Royal Mail to track it as each package has a unique tracking number.
·         If your package has really disappeared off the face of the Earth, please don’t worry as it is fully insured and I will either make you another item (if possible) or refund your money. To date, we have never had a package go missing or get broken.
·         If your order is damaged during transit please keep all packaging and contact me as soon as possible. All packages are fully insured against damage. If I require you to send the damaged item back to me, I will re-imburse the cost of doing this. If I am able to make you a replacement, I will do so and if not I will refund your money. To date I have never had anything damaged in transit.
·         All items are described as honestly and in as much detail as possible. All items have been lovingly handcrafted and/or hand-customised by me personally and I never send out anything that I am not happy with. I am a very fussy perfectionist so everything that is sent out is of the highest possible standard that I would hope to receive myself. Therefore I will not accept any returns or issue any refunds unless the item has been lost or damaged in transit. Please contact me for instructions if this should happen. 
·         Cancellations will cause me great upset and distress so please do not purchase if you are not planning to pay for your item/s and complete the purchase. Every item in my shop has been created by me with a lot of love and time and with the intention of giving pleasure to others. Please do not spoil the pleasure of making these items by upsetting me. I am an artist and can take things very personally.
