Detailed Condtion : Considering their age (+65), both carpets are in very good condition = excellent craftsmenship.
This is a pair of beautiful great quality authentic Persian - Mohajeran rugs. They have a superb tight weave. Hand-knotted with extra fine wool and silk. They can be used as art or could easily withstand any traffic. They have a silverfish glow that changes with the light angle. Beautiful floral & medallion design. Dark navy blue, black, grey, silver and a slight touch of pink.
Velvet soft to the touch.
Due to its age it has some abrash, wear, as you can see better in photos. Minor imperfections add to its authenticity and artistic and antique characteristic.
