Overall condition is acceptable. This is a first printing. Up front, this book has taken a beating. It was recovered from a discard bin and was in pieces with numerous loose pages and from the front cover to page 112 was separated from the rest of the book. Pages 113 to 118 are heavily creased as they were the loose ones. The book was exposed to moisture at some point which has stained pages and there is clear evidence that mildew had taken hold on the upper area of many of the 464 pages. The scans of the front and back show much of the problems, to include creasing, chipping, heavy edge wear, and above average shelf wear. The spine has a vertical crease along with the "crease" where the book broke in two. I utilized clear tape and glue to secure the book back together, ensuring that no further damage could occur. Both the top and bottom edges of the spine have heavy chipping. Despite these many flaws, the book is still in readable condition and can still serve the purpose of imparting knowledge on the Koran.
