does not look like it has ever had a battery in it.............there are rub marks and blemishes on the front but may not have ever been used........tested and it is loud...........you will need a 2.5 mm plug of some sort to ground out the device.......then it will activate when the round area is pressed or the plug is removed.......looks like a lot of these style use the same plug......this listing is meant for those who have this or similar and it has stopped working...........or you can use this as is as long as the 2.5 mm hole has something plugged in...........otherwise it will blow the siren all the time............will need a 9 volt battery for this.............
