Seller's Description
This is a postcard with a view of the Monument des Mortes in Boufarik, Algeria.
The card was posted in June 1943 using the British Army Field Post Office mark FPO 284, then allocated to the 46th Infantry Division, which had taken part in the Tunisian campaign. It also has a censor marking. The card was sent by “Alfred” to Isobel Brooke at an address in Halifax, Yorkshire, which makes sense as the Division's units were mainly from the north of England.
The card is in fair condition with some wear to the corners and edges.
