Oxides in Quartz Trillion: Double-sided Cabochon with Golden Inclusions; 14 cts

Pretty golden veils flash in and out of view as the stone is turned, with a scattering of tiny, bronze-colored dots across the surface. Reflections from the veils add color to the water-clear holding quartz body, and throw off metallic-looking flashes from some angles. The low domes on both front and back invite an open-back or wire-wrap setting so that it can be appreciated from all sides. It could also be drilled and a bail added for a simple pendant.
