Seller's Description
From the General Phonograph Corporation, circa 1923, though now part of the CBS-Columbia music family. A rich history surrounds this label founded by Otto Heinemann, who issued not only recordings similar to other companies, but also music for audiences in the German, Czech, Polish, Swedish and Yiddish communities neglected by others.
Offered here is a decently clean and fine sounding pair of 1940's Big Band fox trots from Dick Jurgens and his Orchestra.
A lot of original gloss still shows under general, light playwear. Scratches and scuffs are minimal with no cracks, or skips. One tiny edge chip does NOT affect the play. Some background hiss should be expected.
Side 3671 presents the popular "Elmer's Tune". Side 3672 offers "You're The Sunshine Of My Heart", with vocal chorus by Harry Cool.
