Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
Offered here is a pair of dance music fox trot recordings. Record #A3831. A nicely preserved platter with very modest wear on both plays. One edge chip does NOT intrude into the grooves. Background hiss and pop is minimal, and there are no cracks, chips or skips.
Side 80836 presents the Happy Six with, "Peggy Dear".

Side 80837 offers, "Little Rover" (don't forget to come back home), also performed by The Happy Six.
