Seller's Description

Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1966 Fred Zinnemann Historical Drama A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS starring Paul Scofield, Wendy Hiller, Leo McKern as Cromwell, Robert Shaw, Orson Welles as Cardinal Wolsey, Susannah York, Nigel Davenport, John Hurt, Corin Redgrave, Colin Blakely, Cyril Luckham, Jack Gwillim, Thomas Heathcote, Yootha Joyce, Anthony Nicholls, John Nettleton and Vanessa Redgrave as Anne Boleyn.

Scofield’s definitive performance as Sir Thomas More who does battle with Shaw’s Henry VIII over his divorce is just one of the reasons to admire this excellent version of Robert Bolt’s play. Cast, costumes, sets, photography and direction all come together with panache and it desrvedly picked up 6 Oscars including Best Picture.
