Original 1978 Polish 23 inch x 32 1/4 inch Poster for the 1977 Robert Benton Thriller THE LATE SHOW starring Art Carney, Lily Tomlin, Bill Macy, Joanna Cassidy, Ruth Nelson, Howard Duff, Eugene Roche, John Considine and John Davey.
Benton directs this excellent, appealing homage to the detective genre starring Carney as the world-weary, limping old private eye investigating the death of his partner with bthe help of the wise-cracking Tomlin. Benton’s complicated and engaging tale hits the right balance between wry humour and thrills and doesn’t forget the touch of pathos at the core of the best detective movies.

Kapusta was born in Zalesie, Poland, in 1951. He graduated from the high school of Fine Arts in Poznan. Afterwards he graduated from the Department of Architecture at the Warsaw Polytechnic. His work ranges from small graphic forms, posters, magazine illustrations, graphic design, book illustrations, to set designs and painting.
The poster is in very good unfolded (rolled) condition.
