Seller's Description

An early 1950's recording, and shellac pressing #1205. Headquartered in Great Britain this is a "made in England" import.

Leader of the world's most elegant pops orchestra, Annunzio Paolo Mantovani, known as Mantovani, was an Anglo-Italian conductor and light orchestra-styled entertainer with a cascading strings musical signature. His easy listening arrangements are as beloved today for their honesty and simplicity and a reminder what real music was like.

Here is an exceptionally clean and clear sounding pair of instrumental orchestrations. We grade this as near-mint, showing only incidental scratching and minor scuff marks.

Side 16800 presents "It Happened In Monterey", and side 16801 plays, "Was It A Dream?"
