Seller's Description
Two jazz sounds from Decca Records, circa late 1930's with Milt Herth on the organ; Billy Kyle at the piano; and O'Neil Spencer's drums and vocal. Playing jazz on the organ is a doubtful job at best, but this trio plays light jazz, not hot. Herth is a well-equipped organist with some flair for swing, and does a credible job.
This record shows a fair amount of playwear due to the good sounds. A few scuffs and scratches will be seen and heard but no skips are caused. There are numerous edge chips on the A side but none of them intrude into the grooves.
Side 4285-A presents "Jersey Bounce", and side 4285-B offers, "Pennsylvania Polka". Both are performed by the Milt Herth Trio, named above.
