Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1972 John Sturges Western JOE KIDD, written by Elmore Leonard and starring Clint Eastwood, Robert Duvall, John Saxon, Don Stroud, Stella Garcia and James Wainwright.
An ex-bounty hunter reluctantly helps a wealthy landowner and his henchmen track down a Mexican revolutionary leader.
Poster art by Jean Mascii. Mascii was one of the most prolific French film poster artists of the second half of the 20th century creating over 2,000. He was born in Italy in 1926 his family then settled in France in 1932. He began work designing cinema facades and designed his first film poster for La Dame D'Onze Heures starring Paul Meurisse in 1947. He died in Paris in 2003.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
