Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1979 John Byrum Drama HEART BEAT, based on the autobiography by Carolyn Cassady and starring Nick Nolte (Neal Cassady), Sissy Spacek (Carolyn Cassady), John Heard (as Jack Kerouac), Ray Sharkey and Ann Dusenberry.
The film explores the love triangle of real-life characters Neal Cassady, Jack Kerouac, and Carolyn Cassady in the late 1950s and the 1960s. It chronicles beat poet Jack Kerouac writing his seminal novel On the Road, and its effect on their lives.
Poster photography by Francesco Scavullo (1921 - 2004). An American fashion photographer best known for his work on the covers of Cosmopolitan and his celebrity portraits. Scavullo created shots for various movie posters, album covers and Broadway shows, including one for A Star is Born.
The poster is in fine folded condition.
