Play your portable audio device through your car stereo

The cassette adapter lets you send an audio signal from your portable device to your car stereo.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Insert the adapter plug into the line output jack of your portable audio device. Note: The headphone jack is a suitable alternative to the line jack.

Turn on cassette player with volume adjusted to the lowest level.

Insert adapter as if it were an ordinary cassette.

Turn on your portable audio device and press play.

Adjust the cassette player volume to preferred level.

When done, eject the adapter as you would any ordinary cassette.

Important note for cassette players with auto reverse function:

If your cassette player is in the auto reverse mode, the adapter head and cassette player head may not line up properly, resulting in sound distortion or loss of sound.

To remedy this situation, depress the auto reverse button on your cassette deck.
