Offered is Pratt's well known book on trees and how to identify them. Asides from the photographs, the illustrations were done by Margaret L. Cosgrove. The book was found in three pieces, recovered from a discard bin. Clear tape was used along the spine to secure the pieces together while glue was used to secure the interior pages back to the new repair. Thus, now, the book is back in a usable condition as a reference guide. The front cover has some edge wear and a small crease in the upper, right corner. There are also some faint vertical impressions on the cover as well. The back cover had edge wear as well with a small chip in the lower, left corner and along the upper edge. The spine, clearly, shows where the book had split and of course, has the tape repair along it. The interior pages have discolored a bit with age.
