Eudialyte Pear Cabochon: Ruby-red Crystals in Dark Matrix; 55.8 cts; Canada

Eudialyte is a rare silicate mineral known for its rich, ruby-red color. It occurs in Greenland, Canada and Russia's Kola Peninsula. A large and pretty cabochon in this material with large areas of ruby-red eudialyte in black amphibole matrix. A nice gem that will make an unusual pendant or centerpiece for another jewelry design.
