Oregon Sunstone Labradorite Marquise: Stoplight Red-Pink Bicolor; 8x4mm; 0.5cts

This piece is a much brighter red than the photos indicate. The stone is well cut and really sparkles in the light. The copper-bearing, transparent variety of labradorite is only found in the remote deserts of Oregon, and is that state's official gemstone. A beautiful, stoplight-red and pink gem that would make a wonderful ring stone or other element in your jewel design.

The photos were taken under natural light. The gem is brighter and more sparkly in-hand, and what may appear to be windowing merely the result of the angle at which I was forced to shoot (in order to avoid making the gem look too dark). In some photos, colors may be picked up from the holder or other items in the background. Item comes in the acrylic gem case as shown.
