As amazing as that feat would have been, the real miracle is that he was ever able to step foot on a racetrack. In his short life, he has been associated with more tragedy than most humans. He was born in the midst of a mysterious epidemic, his first trainer was murdered, his owner was diagnosed with a terminal illness and he had a freak accident that almost ended his life. Against all odds, the little colt from Philly persevered and ran his way into the hearts of the horse racing community.
