All items offered are genuine release (usually 1st), old, cinema movie items and so had a 'life' before sale, so unlikely ever to be mint.

This item:  A PRIME COLLECTABLE An original, vintage  script for this important Amicus portmanteau horror movie and one which was a huge success leading Amicus to produce a number of star-studded movies involving various short horror stories enwrapped in an overall structure - this particular one being a train journey and the fates of people in a particular compartment. This is an early version of the finally produced movie with the structure clear though some of the stories house some changes from the final version; for example the Christopher Lee disembodied hand story has the Lee character involved in the world of classical music and not art though the story and conclusion marry closely; the story of voodoo has changes to adapt to the musical talents of Roy Castle once he was signed up for the movie. That said, as the title page shows (photo 3) to the top left are the monsters to appear and are the same as indicatred on the rare Quad poster. The script comprises 81 pages with all dialogue and movement bound securely and with blue card covers and a cut-out title pane.  Such vintage screenplays are rarely offered and are a great addition to any collection.  Rare

Condition: (Range from Fine – Very Good – Good – Poor with ++ to - - for further differentiation) :  Very Good ++ -:   complete, some very light outer edge wear to covers and the card covers are stained, though there are no stains within; internally very good and clean; overall, certainly very good.
