Seller's Description

This superb soloist emerged in the 1940's with a need to express the feelings of the GIs and their sweethearts during one of the most romantic periods of the last century, the war years. The quintessential superstar had 9 gold records achieved before there was MTV or television. Here are two of his best baritone vocals from Decca Records. Superb condition all around. Gently played with only incidental scratch and scuff marks. We grade as near-mint!

Side 18557-A lists "In My Arms", a vocal waltz, and side 18557-B presents, "It Can't Be Wrong", a fox trot vocal. Both are crooned by the deep voice of Dick Haymes, with the Song Spinners accompaniment.
