Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
Offered here is a clean and rich sounding pair of 1940's Harry James Orchestra fox trot arrangements.
Side HCO 1828 presents "And Then It's Heaven", with vocal chorus from Buddy Di Vito. Side HCO 1844 lists, "I Guess I Expected Too Much".
Very light surface wear and faint scratches will be found, but nothing that prevents the enjoyment of the play. No breaks, cracks, skips, or chips.
