Seller's Description
"The wizard of the keyboard," Frankie Carle was one of the most entertaining pianists of the 1940's and 1950's.

Starting in 1916, he worked with a number of mainstream dance orchestras. He became a featured performer (and later partner) in the Horace Heidt orchestra, leaving in 1944 to form his own band. His daughter, billed as Marjorie Hughes, was the lead singer. Carle had several million-sellers in the late 1940's and early 1950's, including his theme song, "Sunrise Serenade" .
Offered here is a fairly clean and decent sounding pair of piano solos arrangements. Minor background noise will be heard since I see a few incidental scratches and scuff marks. This record has no cracks, chips, or skips. and a partial gloss still shows.
Side CCO 4531 presents the Hoagy Carmichael - Parish composition, "Star Dust" with rhythm accompaniment. Side CCO 4535 shows, "Canadian Capers", also with rhythm accompaniment.
