Seller's Description
1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.
This is a mostly clean and fine sounding pair of 1940's Claude Thornhill Orchestra fox trot rhythms.
Side CO 32936 presents, "Buster's Last Stand", and side CO 33039 features, "I Don't Know Why", with vocal chorus by The Snowflakes We grade at VG+. A few scuff and scratch marks show on both sides but a mostly normal playwear.
