Seller's Description

1925 was the year Columbia switched from the old method of acoustically recorded pressings to the new electric recording process licensed from Western Electric. This company has a long history, dating back to 1888, and was one of the "Big Three" in recording companies, competing with Edison and Victor. They remain the oldest continually used brand name in recorded sound, now owned by Sony Music since 1988.

Offered here is a circa 1920's, pair of orchestra dance music fox trots. In excellent condition! Mostly clean with light playwear showing. Very nice audio. No chips, cracks or skips.

Side 80370 lists, "Just Because You're You That's Why I Love You" and side 80371 features, "Rose Of Bombay". These fox trots are performed by the Eddie Elkins' Orchestra.
