Seller's Description
"The wizard of the keyboard," Frankie Carle's Orchestra was one of the most entertaining jazz groups of the 1940's and 1950's.

Starting in 1916, he worked with a number of mainstream dance orchestras. He became a featured performer (and later partner) in the Horace Heidt orchestra, leaving in 1944 to form his own band. His daughter, billed as Marjorie Hughes, was the lead singer. Carle had several million-sellers in the late 1940's and early 1950's, including his theme song, "Sunrise Serenade" .
Offered here is a spotless and beautifully clear sounding pair of fox trot rhythms. Almost full mint state! Squeeky clean and faultless sound. Showing only a trace of playwear. This record has no cracks, chips, or skips, and a high gloss still shows. We grade this at near-mint.
Side CO 33862 offers, "Evelina" with vocal by Paul Allen. Side CO 33958 lists, "Right As The Rain", with vocal from Paul Allen. Both songs are from the 1944 Broadway Musical, "Bloomer Girl".
