Seller's Description
An mid to late 1940's Columbia recording from Harry James and his Orchestra featuring a Helen Forrest vocal on the "A" side. One of the BEST Big Band sounds of the era! Harry James is best remembered today for his colorful, ear-shattering, trumpet playing.

Offered here is an exceptionally clean and fine sounding pair of fox trot arrangements. Minor background hiss, light scuffs, and faint scratches are to be expected, but this platter has no cracks, chips, or skips and still shows a decent gloss.
Side HCO 828 presents "I Cried For You". Side HCO 829 lists a Harry James composition, "Let Me Up" as an instrumental.
