Chrysoberyl Faceted Pear Gemstone: Celedon Yellow-Green Color; 1.55 cts; Brazil

This faceted pear has a celadon yellow color, with a pretty glow. The stone is silky (fibrous inclusions which give it the glow) and some darker zoning along one edge. This piece should easily fit into most pre-made 9x6mm pear prong settings, and I think this one would look best in silver or other white metal. Chrysoberyl makes an interesting gemstone for a ring, pendant or other jewel design.
