- Being made by Cinch, this connector is a high quality US product with gold contacts (not a cheap import).
- This is the type of D style ribbon cable connector that became known as a "36-pin Centronics Connector" after Centronics started using them on their printers.
- I has solder cups for wires as well as Cable Strain Relief bracket on its outer housing.
- This particular model uses screws to hold it together which makes it much easier to open than cheaper models that snap together.
