Original circa 1850 8 inch x 6 3/8 inch print of THE CASTLES OF EUROPE AND ASIA
Engraved by George K. Richardson (1836-1891).
From a picture by William Henry Bartlett (1809 - 1854). Topographical draughtsman. Apprenticed to the antiquary and publisher John Britton, for whom he made illustrations until 1831. Travelled extensively producing illustrations for travel books, both those written by others and his own. Exhibited at the Royal Academy and the Royal Watercolour Society.

The print is in good to very good condition with some age related toning. Reverse side blank.
