Captain America and Bucky are ordered stateside for a secret mission after helping SGT. ROCK & EASY CO. in a savage battle, where they encounter Batman and Robin! The Gotham Project has been discovered and it's up to the two teams to stop the plans of the Joker and the Red Skull, who seek to overthrow the U.S. Government! When the Joker finally realizes this, he says "I may be a criminal lunatic, but I'm an American criminal lunatic!" There's also a !wist ending, where Batman & Robin are the one's who find Captain America suspended in ice!
