"Where Lurks the Ghost!" (Reprinted from Tales to Astonish #25) by Stan & Steve shows a man make a bet with his friend that he will see a ghost if he stays the night at a local haunted house! When he gets there, he is greeted by the caretaker whom he explains the nature of the wager to and the caretaker allows the man to spend the night. He goes to sleep and wakes and leaves...feeling smug, goes to visit his friend but when he mentions the caretaker, the friend is startled. He pulls out a newspaper clipping of a photo of the caretaker that states he was killed by an intruder many years ago!!
"Bat's Tale" (from Marvel Tales #113) by Stan Lee and Russ Heath sees a Vampire captures a man and takes his victim to show him to his brothers. They all agree that not even the Beast-Man captures such victims and ask the man his name. The fat man doesn't speak and instead transforms into the Beast-Man and attacks the Vampires!
"The Men in the Morgue" (from Adventures into Terror #28) with Gene Colan artwork, has Two killers attempt to hide in the morgue, but the attendant locks them in the freezer!!
"Gorilla Man" (from Men's Adventures #26) by Stan Lee and Robert O. Sale shows Ken Hale plagued with nightmares about a Gorilla Man! Thoughts of the Gorilla Man plague his mind and so he decides to go see a doctor who finds that there is nothing wrong with him physically. Next at the library he sees what he can learn but finds that there is only works of fiction about Gorilla men. He also pays a visit to his explorer friend Bension, who tells him that there is a rumor about a half-man half-gorilla in a remote region of Africa. This inspires Ken to take a trip out to Africa to locate the Gorilla Man, where he hires a group of Natives to take him to the Gorilla Man. At a certain point the natives refuse to go any further, so Ken travels deeper into the jungle and fends off danger until he finds the Gorilla Man. When he finally finds the half-man half-beast Ken raises his gun to shoot it, but suddenly gets the urge to fist fight it. Tossing his gun aside, Ken battles hand-to-hand with the Gorilla Man! Ken beats the creature to death and suddenly he finds himself transformed into a Gorilla Man himself and cries out into the night...he just killed his kin!!
