Seller's Description
This card is imprinted with: "The present Post Office Building, Washington, N.C. was completed in 1913. This was the first Post Office in the United States to be named 'Washington', and was established in 1789. It is also the first town to be named 'Washington' when General Washington took charge of the Continental Army in Dec. 1776."
Other than a minor smudge on the reverse, this is a mint condition printing, image #W-11 and card #89993 from Asheville Post Card Co.
