Seller's Description
This Littig & Company copyright is a great pairing of the old City Hall and what was once the world's tallest skyscraper, the F.W. Woolworth Building. The buildings may still be there, but Woolworth is gone as a name. The cancel marks you see on the upper-right are from a 1988 mailing to the Weather Wise Word Contest held in Rockford, Illinois. We'd like to ask the mailer, Della Eads, why she mailed this old card. Probably a kid who got into her parent's collection!
Some moderate corner wear along with the cancel marks, and one tiny crease on the upper-left, but no tears.
