Original 1960 Polish 23 1/4 inch x 33 3/4 inch Poster for the 1951 Guy Lefranc French Drama YOUNG LOVE (UNE HISTOIRE D’AMOUR) starring Louis Jouvet, Dany Robin, Daniel Gélin, Georges Chamarat and Yolande Laffon.
Catherine, 18, loved Jean, a young accountant, who loved her in return. And yet, one morning, two policemen find their dead bodies on a stretch of waste ground. The case is obvious: the two young people have killed themselves. But why? Chief Inspector Ernest Plonche decides to investigate...
Poster art by Jerzy Jaworowski (!919 - 1975). Jaworowski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in 1955. He was a book-jacket designer, poster designer and designer of postage stamps.
The poster is in good condition with a very faint horizontal fold. There is a 6 inch tear at the right edge and a few other shorter tears around the edges.
