This interesting issue includes excerpts from a sermon by Bishop Clemens August von Galen delivered on 13 July 1941, in which he protests the closure of Catholic institutions and the lawlessness committed by the Gestapo. His fearless sermons, delivered during July and August 1941, earned him the nickname ‘Lion of Münster.
With a note to French civilians printed in red: “Français! Ceci est destiné aux soldats allemands! Faites en sorte qu’ils le reçoivent!”. - Slightly creased, else very good.
