Seller's Description

[Title]: Ich fühle mich so frisch. Es kommt der Frühling.

[Political Warfare Executive, 1942]. Original aerial propaganda leaflet, illustrated. 2 pages. 213 x 133 mm. Text in German.

Code G.14 [1942]. - Kirchner 4, 30.

The photomontage shows a noticeably pleased Hitler in a snow-covered field, surrounded by fallen German soldiers. A 'death mask' of Hitler can be seen in the clothing of one of the dead soldiers in front. It is unclear whether this is an unintentional detail or a deliberate choice (The Falling Leaf, issue 148, 1995).

Rubbed and slightly creased, several small nicks and chips to upper edge, one corner dog-eared.
