Polyester Fibre Sheet.

Polyester sheeting is generally used under the material of padded furniture to smooth out lumps and give a better finish. It can be used on foam cushions to give a softer surface or hide the sharp edges of the foam block. It's also used extensively as insulation in coats/sleeping bags and around propagators in greenhouses. Makes great snow for Christmas scenes.    A useful product with a whole host of uses.

Our Polyester sheet (A similar sheet is sold under the trade name of Dacron) is of the useful 4oz size and is 27 inches in width. The product can be torn thinner if a lesser strip is required. A 7oz version is available but has limited uses, due to its bulk. We believe that the 4oz is by far the most useful. The product should be glued to the surface of the padding using a spray adhesive such as that in our Shop, to avoid rucking and 'gathering'.
