Chrome Effect Glide
You are looking at a chrome-effect, large based glide that has been designed for upholstered furniture. An alternative to fitting castors. Sold individually, the glide has a large base that doesn't penetrate the carpet as deeply or sharply as a castor and having a large surface area, still remains fairly easy to move.
Fitting is via a metal insert (supplied) that fits inside a 3/8" (10mm) hole that is drilled into the wooden base of the furniture. The hole may already exist if castors are fitted. The glide stands about 1 7/8" (about 4.2cm) high when fitted and the base has a diameter of about 2.5" (6.3cm). Castors are available from our online shop.
