Vogue sewing pattern V1863, for Misses' retro 1940's blouse, skirt and belt. This pattern is new and uses modern sizing, but the design is taken from an original Vogue design, circa 1949.
Difficulty Rating: Average.
View A is double-breasted with open neck and wide draped collar. Three-quarter length sleeves, draped cuffs. View B is single-breasted style with collarless built-up neckline. Three-quarter length sleeves are raglan in front and kimono cut in back. View C is a wide flared skirt and has deep unpressed inverted pleat at centre front and centre back, side zip. View D belt has buckle with prong.
Fabrics: Taffeta, Crepe, Shantung, Wool Jersey, Damask, Broadcloth. Interfacing: Sew-in.
NOTIONS: Thread A: Four 3/4" (2 cm) Buttons, Snaps. B: Five 3/4" (2 cm) Buttons, 1/4" (0.6 cm) Shoulder Pad (optional).
C: 9" (23 cm) Zipper, Hook and Eye, Seam Binding. D: One 1 3/4" (2 cm) Buckle, Four Eyelets.
This pattern is available in a choice of size combinations; A5(6,8,10,12,14) or F5(16,18,20,22,24). Please see below for sizing chart;
