Seller's Description
Condition: mint.
Publisher: John Hinde Ltd.
Year: unknown.
Seller's Reference: BX/PC/001.
Additional descriptive notes (if applicable): The text on the back of the card reads ‘The shipyard that was to become Harland and Wolff (The RMS Titanic launched in 1911) was established in 1861. During its history it has built more than 1,700 ships and at its peak in the 1950s employed about 35,000 people. One of its busiest times was during the second world war when it produced 140 naval ships and 140 for the merchant services. This works out at about one ship a week.’
General notes: in addition to postage my shipping charges include a handling and packing charge. My basic charges for this item are shown on the sales page. However, postage, processing and packing charges for multiple purchases will be combined and will be based upon the actual cost of despatching a package containing all the items bought.
Purchasers who buy more than one item should ensure that they request an invoice, so that they benefit from the consolidated charge for postage and packing.
