Original British 30 inch x 40 inch Quad Poster for the 1960 Paul Guilfoyle Drama TESS OF THE STORM COUNTRY, based on the novel by Grace Miller and starring Diane Baker, Jack Ging, Lee Philips and Wallace Ford.
Young Scottish lassie Tess (Diane Baker) becomes embroiled in a conflict about a toxic chemical plant near her new home in Pennsylvania
The poster artwork is by A. “Jock” W. Hinchliffe.
Hinchliffe was born in Perth, Scotland. In 1953 he had a studio in Chalk Farm, North London, where he produced a series of six oil paintings as publicity for 20th Century Fox’s “The Robe”. He had been engaged by Fox in 1926 and produced posters and ads continuously for them, and for Disney, well into the 1960s.

The poster is in very good folded condition with a small stain and wear in the bottom left corner and corner pinholes.
