Original French 47 inch x 63 inch Poster for the 1983 Volker Schlondorff Drama SWANN IN LOVE (UN AMOUR DE SWANN), based on part of Remembrance of Things Past by Marcel Proust and starring Jeremy Irons, Ornella Muti, Alain Delon, Fanny Ardant and Marie-Christine Barrault.
Irons is elegantly chilly as the Jewish French aristocrat caught in a passion for upwardly mobile Muti in 1880s Paris. Delon is interesting in an untypical part as the camp gay Baron Charles. It looks a treat thanks to the gorgeous production with beautiful costumes, locations and photography
The poster art is by Benjamin Baltimore.
The poster is in very good folded condition.
