Fully Hallmarked lion passant for sterling, leopard head for London, date letter (E) circa.1860.

Maker’s mark IP over WP for Pittway Bros. London.

Measures 8 cm in length when compacted and 2.3 cm diameter

Embossed with what I believe to be the Norwegian Royal Crest

A stunning well hallmarked Victorian sterling silver gentleman’s travel shaving brush with what looks like the Norwegian Royal crest. A truly beautiful piece of antique silver that’s quite rare with it’s engraved crest and decoration. The badger hair bristles are shorter with travel shaving brush sets of this period and is completely functional and any replacement hair bristles are easy to acquire if looking to replace/renew them.
