Description: This is a Large 11"" inch x 8"" inch colour photograph of a period street scene on the outskirts of Poole, Dorset in 1992. A Wilts & Dorset liveried, Roe bodied, open topped Leyland Olympian bus, registration plate CUB70Y, fleet number 3911, route 159, and destination 'Poole', is parked up whilst a 1989 Vauxhall Astra estate, registration plate G545PAA pulls out of the side road.
This Olympian is ex-West Yorkshire PTE where it was new in 1983. Tha banner advert on the side of the bus reads 'You'll know it's PG instantly'.
An interesting look at an everyday Dorset bus scene in the early 1990's.
